Selective intimacy – why it’s more important than you think!

***

I want to start this post off by saying that what you’re about to read may come across as judgmental and offensive. So let me clarify from the get-go that just because my lifestyle choices may not coincide with yours, it does not mean in any way, shape or form that I’m about to judge the choices you make. If it works for you, then all power to you!

Previously, I have touched on the fact that dating in this day and age, has become a bit of a joke. Tinder, online dating and websites that encourage cheating on your significant other have made it all the more accessible for one night stands and quick hook-ups to occur. This is something I’ve never been into personally, but as I said, if it works for you, then it’s your prerogative.

What many people don’t know however is that intimacy – at a sexual level – intertwines your aural energy with the aural energy of the other person. You may think these encounters are insignificant, but these connections can leave spiritual debris, especially within people who do not practice any type of physical or emotional cleansing.

The more intimate you are with someone, the more your connection deepens, and the more your auras are intertwined. For example, someone who sleeps with multiple people will end up carrying an array of different energies, causing their own aura to become confused. What they may not realise, is that others can feel this confused, negative energy which can repel positive energy. Ultimately, this can cause even more negative energy to be attracted into their life.

Little did you know, it is becoming increasingly more important for you to be more aware of who you’re getting hot and heavy with. Not because –

– But because it could be affecting you on a deeper, energetic spiritual level.

In my opinion, we have sex with someone who can satisfy us physically, but we make love to someone who can satisfy us soulfully and eternally. As we mature, it is realised that having anything with just anybody isn’t good enough. You’ll either want it right, or not at all.

As Lisa Chase Patterson said, “never sleep with someone you wouldn’t want to be.” I think this is advice that we could all benefit from.

Love & light,

X Cat.
