I believe it is important to reground yourself when going through spurts of anxiety. Get back in touch with nature by going to the beach, taking a stroll through a nature park, or simply, by sitting in your garden.
By bonding with Mother Earth, you step away from the stresses and obligations of daily life, and boy does it feel rejuvenating! It’s a small reminder that the universe has grand plans for us, and judging by the beauty created within our surroundings, whatever is in store for us must be just as beautiful. For me, this is a form of meditation in itself.
I’ll be spending the next few days by the beach. There’s something about the salty air, the sun, sand and ocean that lights me up from within, lifting my energy. I truly feel like I’m at my happiest when I’m at the beach.
There is nothing better than switching off, opening up a good book and soaking up that vitamin D.
